Have Your Say on Southampton’s Future

Southampton City Council has launched its 2026 City Survey, asking residents, workers, students, business owners and visitors to share what they think of the city today. The survey covers local neighbourhoods, council services, transport, culture, green spaces, safety, and health and wellbeing. The results will help shape the council’s priorities and budget for the coming years.

The council has also announced progress on the former Toys R Us site. Working with Aviva Capital Partners and University of Southampton Holdings, the council has started demolition, which it describes as a visible step towards its plans for the city.

At Cafe Thrive, we’re proud to be part of the community that makes Southampton what it is. If you’re a local, take a few minutes to complete the City Survey, and then come and see us for a warm, vegan bite.
